“AMPT” ANNOUNCEMENT: This is a rather short-notice but we would love for ALL of you to come out during SXSW and join us in supporting our conscious friends at INDRA’s AWAREHOUSE  through ArtIsInFormation.org! During their 9-days of AMPT:Art-Music-Performance-Technology event, we at TheSHIFT will be providing part of the weeks entertainment on Thursday Evening, March 16th, with two dances and a video interactive dive into the symbolism of the ancient myths and mysteries of the unified conscious forces of Dark and Light, which we see awakening all around us now. We will touch on current events and how perceptions of them are re-shaping consciousness itself.

THE EVENING: Is there an actual “awakening” happening? Are we now in a time of “revealing”? Are we really at the place where human paradigms do begin a massive SHIFT? Are we now being called into action to be spiritual warriors in some way, as the ground begins to rumble at our feet? What is really being required of us in order to manifest our PARALLEL REALITY, as we enter this New Age? We will take a fun look at these questions through lenses of spirituality, religion, science, and of course, astrology, creating the alphabetic seeds for a new unified conscious language…. Sound & video are powerful mediums and by using the voice to open the mind, the heart and the body in a SING-A-LONG, we intend to make it a fun evening for all who may come!

ARRIVE EARLY for PARKING: This is part of an all-day open event which will be starting at 2PM, people may come to Indra’s earlier to see the performances and connect with the attendees. From 6PM on, we will will holding the space with the “Welcome Dance”; people may wander in at any time. Feel free to arrive when ever you wish but we suggest to prepare to be seated by 7PM. This activation will be wrapped on both sides with a fun “Sci-fi adventure, Zodiac birthday sign, warm-up Welcome Dance” — as well as a “Get down after the talk revival, open your heart, shake your booty Dance”  — to some pop oldie and modern mashups in an eclectic Aquarian age style! So come to move, learn and have some fun!

WHAT TO WEAR & BRING: Feel free to come as you want to express and how you like to move at yoga or at an “ecstatic dance”. The main floor is concrete and the stage area is made for bare-feet. Recommend a water bottle. And come wearing an open heart.

For those who have never experienced INDRA’s Awarehouse, it’s a unique Austin treasure, accepting open-minded omni-oriented people of ageless spirit.
